'Help is there' for lonely Scots over festive period
An Aberdeen woman whose life has been affected by suicide is urging people not to try and cope alone over the festive period.
For some people the bright lights of Christmas can increase feelings of loneliness.
Suicide prevention charities recognise the festive season can be a particularly "difficult" time.
Choose Life is the national strategy and action plan to prevent suicide in Scotland. The Samaritans can be contacted on 08457 909090.
