Vion's Turriff jobs 'saved' by management buyout plan
The Dutch-based food producer Vion has said about 115 jobs have been safeguarded in Aberdeenshire after the company reached agreement for a management buyout of its pork operations.
The firm has also said 4,000 posts would be protected across the UK.
Talks are continuing on the future of its chicken and beef operations at Cupar Angus, Cambuslang and Portlethen.
