Hopes for a bumper Scots ski season

Scotland's snow sports areas are hoping for an early season boost, with one ski centre planning to open at the weekend.

Cairngorm Mountain says heavy snowfalls mean several higher runs will be operational, and more snow could be on the way.

The country's other four ski areas say they have snow, but not enough to open the slopes.
