Man charged over Ronnie Simpson murder

CCTV pictures of Ronnie Simpson CCTV footage showed Mr Simpson visiting local shops near his home

A man has been charged by police in connection with the murder of a 67-year-old man in his own home.

Robert Simpson, who was also known as Ronnie, was found dead at his property in Mayfield Drive in Armadale, West Lothian, two weeks ago.

Lothian and Borders Police said a 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with Mr Simpson's death.

He is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday.
