Ben Cruachan search team makes body find

Search teams have found the body of a 75-year-old hill walker who had been reported missing overnight on Ben Cruachan in Argyll.

The man became separated from his group and was reported overdue at about 21:30 on Saturday night.

Rescue teams and a police and an RAF helicopter conducted a search around the 1126m-high (3,694ft) Munro, near Loch Awe, until the early hours.

The body of the man was found at about 09:30, after the search had resumed.

Police said his details would not be released until next of kin had been informed.
