Da Vinci sketches up close

A new exhibition featuring the work of one of the world's most celebrated artists has gone on display in Dundee.

Ten Drawings by Da Vinci includes an anatomical sketch, a chariot design and a rural landscape, with all the work selected from the Royal Collection to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

With the McManus Gallery the exhibition's only Scottish destination, curator Martin Clayton explained to BBC Scotland's Steven Godden his desire to reflect the full range of the archetypal Renaissance man.
