A Julia Donaldson story inspires an army dads project
The Children's Laureate Julia Donaldson has a busy festival season ahead.
As well as appearing in her own show at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the Glasgow-based author's work has been adapted for a number of stage shows.
In one of them, soldiers in combat zones such as Afghanistan are helped to read bedtime stories to their children in the UK.
BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean reports.
