Pipe bands tune-up for World Pipe Band Championships

The annual international piping festival is set to get under way in Glasgow.

A week of events will showcase piping in all its forms, leading up to the World Pipe Band Championships.

The first of the bands have been giving passers-by a taster of what is in store.

Piping Live runs from 6 to 12 August, with the World Pipe Band Championships being held on 11 August.
