Red Arrows flypast in Edinburgh for the Olympics
The Red Arrows have performed a flypast in Edinburgh to mark opening ceremony day of the Olympic Games.
Crowds gathered in the city's Festival Square, Scotland's official London 2012 live site, to watch the display at 12:30.
The special flypast will take in all nations of the UK. Edinburgh was the first port of call, before heading to Belfast, Cardiff and the opening ceremony in London.
Live coverage of the opening ceremony of London 2012 will be shown on a BBC big screen in Festival Square from 17:00.
