Three supermarkets refuse to buy Scottish mackerel


Three major supermarkets have refused to buy Scottish mackerel.

It is the latest chapter in a war over valuable fish stocks involving Scotland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.

Questions have been raised about the stock's sustainability.

Fishing leaders say they are disappointed and are seeking an urgent meeting with the fisheries minister.
