How Scottish trip helped inspire Brave
Scottish cinemagoers will get a chance to see the much-anticipated animation Brave when it gets its European premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Pixar first announced its plans for the film at the premiere of Toy Story 3, which took place at the festival three years ago.
But as BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean reports, the American animators immersed themselves in the Scottish countryside long before that.
Scottish cast members Kevin McKidd and Kelly MacDonald also explained how they added their own dialogue to the script.
