Guerrilla knitters brighten up Kirkwall

Mystery knitters and crochetters have been brightening up public spaces in the Orkney town of Kirkwall.

Trees, railings and street signs have begun sporting garish coloured textiles.

It is part of an international movement dubbed yarnbombing - and the group's guerrilla tactics appear to be finding favour with most people in the town.
