Supreme Court allows Scottish couple to be extradited to Arizona

The UK Supreme Court has rejected appeals by a central Scotland couple wanted for extradition to Arizona.

The couple, who for legal reasons can only be called Mr and Mrs H, have four children together and four others by different partners.

They argued that extradition would be incompatible with their right to a private and family life.

The Supreme Court said there was an overwhelming public interest in allowing them to be extradited.
