Gustavo Dudamel on Sistema Scotland
Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel has spoken about the inspiration behind Sistema Scotland, the orchestra for children in Stirling.
Four years ago, one child was learning to play a musical instrument in Stirling's Raploch Estate.
There are now 450 children who will play with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in the opening of the Cultural Olympiad for the 2012 Olympic Games.
BBC Scotland's arts correspondent Pauline McLean asked him about El Sistema which started it all and why music is about more than entertainment in society.
