Kevin McKidd stikes a chord for charity

He was Tommy in Trainspotting and he is about to be two McGuffins in Pixar's new animated film Brave.

Now Hollywood star Kevin McKidd is turning his hand to music.

A band led by the Elgin exile has released an online album called The Speyside Sessions, which will raise money for Save the Children.

Musician James D Reid said the project grew out of a Hogmanay homecoming when childhood mates got together for a session.
