Convicted murderer Scottish court sentencing broadcast

A convicted killer whose murder sentencing at the High Court in Edinburgh is the first in Britain to be filmed for broadcast on the same day, has been jailed for life.

David Gilroy was told he would serve a minimum of 18 years for killing Suzanne Pilley, whose body has never been found.

Only the judge, Lord Bracadale, in the proceedings was filmed.
