The million pound farming subsidy loophole is explained

Millions of pounds of public money are being paid out in agricultural subsidies to businessmen who do not work their land.

A BBC investigation has established that instead of helping struggling farmers, the cash is going to some of the biggest landowners in the country.

As part of her investigation, BBC Scotland's Samantha Poling was able to register herself as a farmer and buy eligibility for subsidy.
