Fears for falling bird numbers in Scotland
The starling is one of Scotland's most common birds.
A dramatic drop in numbers in recent years has led to fears the displays which the birds perform in our winter skies could become a thing of the past.
The RSPB has encouraged people to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch to help monitor the bird population across the country.
