New app launched for Burns Night
A new smartphone app has been launched to bring the traditional celebration of the Bard's birthday up to date.
The Burns Night app features leading Scottish actors and musicians performing some of Burns' greatest works.
It also includes an autocue to help people recite Tam o'Shanter and a compass to point towards Alloway when they toast the Immortal Memory.
The app has been released by the Glasgow-based publisher Sara Hunt.
