Mail robot first for Forth Valley
A Scottish hospital has a new robot to sort its mail.
The Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert already has robots delivering meals, linen and cleaning the floors.
The mail robot is the first of its kind to be used in any hospital in Europe and will speed up the delivery of 300,000 letters which pass through the hospital every month.
As with the other robots all the activity takes place away from public areas so most patients and staff will not see the robots at work.
