Reinstate hospital parking charges?

There has been a call to allow hospitals the power to reintroduce car parking charges for staff and patients.

The idea has been proposed in order to allow them to manage traffic on their premises properly.

The situation at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has been described as "critical" with some outpatients saying they risk parking fines to get to appointments on time.
