Hibs training session is called off as weather worsens
Players at Hibernian FC have been forced to abandon a training session in Edinburgh amid worsening weather conditions.
The Met Office has issued a red warning and has predicted winds gusting up to 90mph across much of central and southern Scotland.
Forecasters say conditions are likely to be at their worst between 15:00 and 18:00.
Police in Dumfries and Galloway, Central Scotland, Strathclyde, Lothian and Borders have issued a warning urging commuters not to travel.
