Young family rescued from flood water

Boys rescued after their family home was cut off by flood water

Members of a family were rescued from their home near Dumfries after being stranded for two days by flood water.

Heidi Gordon, her partner Billy Harvey and their children Shauney, Mitchell and Zander were brought to safety by Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue Service.

The only access route to the family's home had been cut off by flood water.

Our footage shows Ms Gordon and two of her children being taken to safety.
