Stuart Walker death: Man arrested over Cumnock killing

Stuart Walker Stuart Walker's body was discovered near an industrial estate

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of Ayrshire barman Stuart Walker.

Mr Walker, 28, was beaten and burned in an attack in his home town of Cumnock, shortly after he was seen leaving a party.

His body was found at about 05:00 last Saturday near the town's Caponacre Industrial Estate.

Police said the man had been detained in custody. He is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday.
