A leading cancer specialist has said the decision to release the Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds was based on flawed medical advice.

Professor Roger Kirby was speaking on the eve of the second anniversary of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi being granted his freedom after being diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer.
