Plague doctors return to Edinburgh


They would have been a familiar and frightening sight in 17th Century Scotland.

Plague doctors wore sinister costumes which were designed to prevent them catching the disease while tending to victims.

Scots artist Frank To is bringing them back to life in a new exhibition in Edinburgh.
