The Edinburgh International Festival finished with a bang on Sunday as more than 100,000 fireworks lit up the night sky.

The spectacular event involved four tonnes of explosives, and hundreds of firing sequences during a remarkable 45 minutes.

The show was accompanied by live music from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
