Salmond defends Lockerbie doctor

Scotland's first minister has defended the doctor whose prognosis led to the release of the Lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds.

Alex Salmond was speaking on the first anniversay of Abdelbasset Ali al-Megrahi's return to Libya.

The first minister told BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland programme that Andrew Fraser, director of health at the Scottish Prison Service, followed a process of "complete integrity".
