Farage 'relishes challenge' as UKIP candidate for Thanet

The leader of UKIP, Nigel Farage, has been selected as his party's Parliamentary candidate for Thanet South in Kent, which is currently held by the Conservatives.

Party members put questions to him and three other possible candidates at a hustings this evening, before casting their votes.

Mr Farage said he was relishing the challenge.
