Life as a councillor: Luke Akehurst and Graham Snell

More than 4,000 councillors were voted in at last month's elections. Some have done the job before but others have power for the first time.

Daily Politics reporter Eleanor Garnier spoke to former Hackney councillor Luke Akehurst, and the newly-elected Graham Snell, who represents UKIP on Thurrock Council.
