Gove: Conservatives 'taking UKIP seriously'

The Conservative party is taking UKIP seriously, education secretary Michael Gove has said as support for Nigel Farage's party surged in the local elections.

Mr Gove told the Today programme that his party is continuing to address the concerns of UKIP voters in areas such as immigration, education and the UK's relationship with the EU.
