Gary Barlow should keep OBE - David Cameron

12 May 2014 Last updated at 15:44 BST

The prime minister has rejected calls for Take That singer Gary Barlow to hand back his OBE after a judge ruled the singer had invested in a scheme designed for tax avoidance purposes.

David Cameron said Mr Barlow had done a "huge amount" for the country.

Gary Barlow is one of three members of the band Take That who may have to pay back millions of pounds in tax after a tribunal ruling.

James Landale reports.
