Nick Clegg: We are not the protest party anymore

Nick Clegg has admitted that the Liberal Democrats are no longer the "protest party" now that they are a "serious party of government".

Speaking at the launch of the party's local election campaign at the Ministry of Sound nightclub in London, Mr Clegg said the Liberal Democrats could be trusted with the "things that matter most to people".
