Political party 'machine' role in election campaigns

The party "machines" are helping to organise campaigns for the local and European elections this month, and gearing up for the 2015 general election.

All parties have workers and structures that deliver the organisation that keeps politicians ticking over, and these will guide the launches and speeches from behind the scenes.

In a Daily Politics film, Giles Dilnot reports on how the "machines" do, or do not, work.
