Cameron pledges EU referendum at Conservative launch

David Cameron has promised UK voters will get a referendum on whether to leave the European Union.

Speaking at the Conservatives' local election campaign launch, the prime minister pledged an "in-out" referendum in 2017.

"Whatever it takes I will deliver that in-out referendum. Labour won't, UKIP can't, I will," he said.
