Labour leader Miliband vows to end 'zero hours abuse'

25 April 2014 Last updated at 14:28 BST

Labour leader Ed Miliband has promised to introduce new rights for workers on zero hour contracts, if his party wins the next election.

He said Labour would aim to stamp out exploitation at work and the worst abuses of zero hours contracts.

The Tories said the number of zero-hours contracts went up under Labour and they did nothing about it.
