Budget 2014: Output gap judging a nation's economy

Economists largely agree that the output gap is a crucial way of judging the state of the nation's economy, but the concept is not easy to explain.

For the Daily Politics, Adam Fleming headed to the gym to gauge the fitness of the economy, with some very complex equations.
