Paul Sykes: 'UKIP only party offering referendum now'

One of Britain's wealthiest men is to help fund the UK Independence Party's advertising campaign for the 2014 European elections.

It is not known how much Paul Sykes plans to donate but it is thought it could run into millions of pounds.

Mr Sykes used to back the Conservatives, but says the party is not moving quickly enough on holding an in-out referendum.
