Why did Bristol want elected mayor George Ferguson

The government thought 10 of the larger English cities like might like an elected mayor in 2012, but only Bristol backed the scheme to change how its council was run.

The Daily Politics' Giles Dilnot has been following George Ferguson - who was elected to the role - for a Radio 4 documentary and looks back at his election and start of office.
