Tories 'to scrap Human Rights Act' - Theresa May

Home Secretary Theresa May has said that a Conservative government would "scrap the Human Rights Act" if the law does not change.

Mrs May cited the difficulty that the government had experienced deporting extremist preacher Abu Qatada on the grounds of Human Rights as justification for repealing the law.
