Labour conference: Harman offers Clegg humble pie

25 September 2013 Last updated at 17:04 BST

Labour's deputy leader offered to cook "a very large portion of humble pie" for the deputy prime minister after the Liberal Democrats announced announced plans for free school dinners.

She told the conference: "When Southwark Labour council did exactly that last year, the Lib Dems bitterly opposed it."

After making a joke about Mr Clegg wanting to cling to power, she told delegates that her party was "not fighting for a draw, Labour is fighting to win".
