EU referendum 'has full backing' from David Cameron

The MP putting forward a bill on whether to hold an in-out referendum on UK membership of the European Union has said that it has the full backing of David Cameron.

A debate will take place in the House of Commons on Friday on Conservative MP James Wharton's bill.

Mr Wharton says he's disappointed that the proposal has had to be made as a private members bill.
