Bilderberg: Ed Balls on business meeting in Watford

The shadow chancellor said he did not "really quite see what the fuss is all about" over the annual meeting of leading politicians and business people from across Europe and North America.

Ed Balls was asked about the Bilderberg gathering over the weekend in Watford, as he told Andrew Neil he had been to several of the annual meetings of the group that always attract a rash of conspiracy theories.

The Labour MP described the behind-closed-doors meetings as a "group of people who sit around and they talk what is happening to medical research and the economies...".
