Gerry McCann backs Miliband and Clegg press plan

Help

Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg have joined forces to push for a law on press regulation, and published their proposals on press reform.

David Cameron thinks that would harm press freedom and it is not included in his draft royal charter.

MPs will decide which version they prefer on Monday.

Gerry McCann, the father of missing toddler Madeleine told the BBC he agreed with the joint Labour and Lib Dem proposal.
