Giles Fraser: Bishops more in touch over benefit reforms


Bishops in the Church of England have criticised the government's benefit reforms, and the Rev Giles Fraser believes they could force more people into poverty.

In his This Week film, he attacked the "strivers and shirkers" phrase as he claimed the bishops were "more in touch than the government".
