US election David Frum on lessons from UK Conservatives
The "mystery about the Romney defeat" was how he lost upper-income immigrants and the lack of a wider "middle-class economic message", said a former speechwriter to George W Bush.
David Frum, a political commentator who has written a book about why Mitt Romney lost the US election, claimed "we have much more to learn" from the British Conservatives.
He examined UK and US election campaigning about the economy and abortion policies, and told Jo Coburn: "We have to come here to learn, not the other way round."
