Political drama: Phil Daniels and Alastair Campbell


Interest in political dramas - such as Borgen and a Yes Prime Minister remake - is booming, while public engagement with real politics appears to be falling.

Actor Phil Daniels explained the background to the National Theatre's play This House - set in the Whips' Office of the 1970s - in which he stars.

Alastair Campbell looked at why he thought Danish drama Borgen's focus on women was part of its attraction - and what happened when he met Malcolm Tucker, a character from political satire The Thick of It, based on his spin doctor role.
