Muslim vigilantes: Peter Tatchell on homophobic abuse
Videos have appeared on the internet showing women, gay people and others in the London borough of Tower Hamlets being subjected to abuse and told to get out of "Muslim areas".
Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell went on to the streets of Whitechapel, where he says many Muslims have criticised the actions.
He said Muslims and gay people had both faced discrimination and hate crime with a common interest in working for a tolerant society, as he called for "equality for all, hatred of none."
Studio debate: Peter Tatchell and Sayeeda Warsi
