Danny Alexander on GDP figures and economic plans
GDP figures showing the UK economy shrank by 0.3% in the last quarter of 2012 were disappointing but not surprising, said the Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
Danny Alexander claimed there was also positive news, and the government had policies to "get the British economy more competitive in the medium term" as he explained the plans for recovery.
