Census: Konnie Huq on immigration and ethnic minorities on TV

Former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq said there was a lot of interest when she was hired as the first Asian presenter of the children's show.

But she believed that kind of news would be "neither here nor there" today as it was now "the norm" to see ethnic minority faces on television.

She debated the census figures - and immigration numbers and policies - with Andrew Neil, Alan Johnson and Michael Portillo.
